I'm 5'10 with ~28" thighs. These came ALL the way up and stayed in place perfectly, since by all the way up I MEAN all the way up, to where my butt starts. They've so far handled dance rehearsals, floorwork, and chair dance tricks admirably, as well as had a lovely color and smooth texture. As a size 13 women's shoe size, the foot is a little small on me, but that's a problem with being outside the range for most socks. I've already bought a couple pairs in other colors, and I look forward to making these staples of my performance costumes!
